MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee Bucks star Khris Middleton left the team's Game against the Chicago Bulls on Wednesday night due to right knee soreness in the first quarter. Middleton was later ruled out for the remainder of the Game .  Less than a minute after the opening tip, Middleton drove baseline and missed a fadeaway jumper over Patrick Williams. He appeared to tweak something upon landing, and was moving with a noticeable hitch as ran back down the floor. The pain of the Dallas Mavericks allowing Jalen Brunson to leave for the Knicks seems to get worse every day. As Brunson and the Knicks are thriving, the Mavericks, after a desperate play to trade for Kyrie Irving, are spiraling way out of contention and perhaps into the lottery.  Now Brunson is twisting the knife even deeper.  In an interview with Bleacher Report's Chris Haynes, Brunson revealed that he wanted to stay for the long haul with the Mavericks, who reportedly could've had him for half of what he got from the Knicks.  From Haynes: Prior to the 2021-22 season, he was eligible for a four-year, $55.5 million extension. Cleveland Cavaliers coach J.B. Bickerstaff and Wednesday's officiating crew have a difference of opinion. With 4:12 left in the Cavs' eventual loss against the Philadelphia 76ers, Evan Mobley drew a charge against Sixers star Joel Embiid. It was Embiid's sixth foul. Philadelphia coach Doc Rivers challenged the call, and after a review, the referees overturned it. Cleveland trailed 108-101 when the foul was called and lost 118-109. Mac McClung, the only G League player in History to even enter the NBA Dunk Contest, let alone win it, put on a show for the ages on Saturday night in Salt Lake City, nailing all four of his attempts on the first try.
