Manchester United have triggered their 12-month extension clause in the contract of centre-back Victor Lindelof, 90min understands. Lindelof's deal had been due to expire next summer and he would have been able to discuss a free transfer overseas as early as Monday, but United have now moved to put an end to the uncertainty surrounding his future. Arsenal have announced the extension of their longstanding partnership with Emirates, adding five more years onto the sponsorship agreement that first began in 2006. It is already the longest-serving front of shirt sponsorship in Premier League History and will now run until at least 2028, at which point it will have been 22 years.
