Best NFL Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs Buffalo Bills touchdown scorer bets: Target these top wide receivers

This is a inter-conference matchup that appears to be lopsided on paper, but Thursday Night Football Games rarely go quite as planned. In this case, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have dropped 2 straight Games after a hot 3-1 start and will now Travel to take on a desperate Buffalo Bills team in Western New York under the lights. The handicap on this Game seems to be a good buy-low spot on the Bills, but that’s not what I’ll be focusing on in this piece.

Be sure to also check out our NFL Week 8 predictions and our TNF player prop picks, but now let’s take a look at my favorite anytime touchdown scorer picks for the Buccaneers vs Bills game, where I’m targeting a wide receiver from each team.

Stefon Diggs, WR, BUF (+100 at FanDuel)

While this isn’t a very original pick, it’s hard to go against Diggs in a matchup where he should absolutely feast against Tampa Bay’s defensive backs. Diggs has been the main source of Buffalo’s offense in the passing Game this season, notching 678 receiving yards through the first 7 weeks. More importantly, Diggs’ connection with Josh Allen has been as strong as ever; he has racked up 6 touchdowns over the first 7 Games to go along with a whopping 55 receptions. Diggs is clearly the top target for Allen this season and he should get plenty of looks once again, having having racked up double digit targets in every Game this far. Don’t overthink this one; we’ll take Diggs to find the end zone at what I think is a bargain price at even money.

Mike Evans, WR, TB (+200 at FanDuel)

For our second touchdown scorer best bet, I’m targeting the top wideout for the visiting Tampa Bay Buccaneers to find the end zone. Mike Evans has been the primary receiving threat on Tampa Bay from the start of the season, recording over 400 yards on 30 receptions through the first 6 games of the campaign. Evans has remained productive in the red zone, grabbing 4 touchdowns including one against the Falcons in last week’s loss. The Bills entered the season with a formidable secondary, but injuries to Buffalo’s backend has made them a bit vulnerable to explosive plays over the top. Just last week, the New England Patriots’ previously nonexistent passing game saw success throughout the contest, so there should be opportunities for Evans to find paydirt on Thursday.
